Police Involved Shooting Claims the Life of a 19 Year Old Male

Alexis Yamil Perez, 19, was shot by three police officers in Pleasantville yesterday afternoon.

According to The Press of Atlantic City, the police confrontation began after 'reports of an armed male (Perez) who was allegedly making threats of using violence outside of his home.'

Authorities say he was carrying a knife.

The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office will investigate, and city's police department will not be involved in the investigation.
