Only in Walmart – Raw Crab Bait?

It is amazing what you can find in Walmart! I did a double-take when I saw THIS in the hunting and fishing section, over by the camping stuff.

Crab bait. To me, it looks like chicken necks, or some kind of RAW MEAT. As an added bonus, toward the bottom of the packaging, it says "not refrigerated". Oh, OK.

Killer Bee...Premium Brined Crab Bait. Bait With Attitude. Um, OK.

I have to be honest. WHY anyone would go to Walmart to buy raw, brined meat for a crab pot...and NOT just go to the food section and buy a whole chicken, is beyond me. You can have dinner for yourself AND fill you pot with bait for crabs. Win - win!
