Big round of applause to this New Jersey State Trooper who saved a deer from drowning in a swimming pool in Warren County.

When Trooper Dwayne Phillips arrived to the scene, he noticed the buck struggling to get out of the pool. So how does one save a deer from drowning?

According to police, he immediately went into action, grabbing the buck by his antlers, and pulling him out.

The deer is doing just fine, and trotted off into the sunset...

It's pretty obvious that it's a slow news day, BUT big kudos to Trooper Phillips for his good deed.
