New Jersey Nursing Home Facing Abuse Allegations

FOX 29 is currently investigating startling allegations of abuse within a New Jersey nursing home in Vorhees. This was sparked after a nurse was forced to leave her job at Vorhees Center after claiming its residents were being abused.

These allegations have enraged those families who currently have their loved ones living within the nursing facility. Nikki Thompson, a licensed practical nurse, worked at Vorhees Center for eight years until she finally spoke up about the abuse that has allegedly been happening at her job.

Thompson reportedly worked at the facility for eight years until she spoke out about the alleged abuse happening at her job. A few allegations have since then surfaced, including a photo showing an 85-year-old woman with dementia tied to a wheelchair.

According to Fox29, Nikki Thompson is currently suing the nursing home and owner Genesis Healthcare.
