New Jersey Man Charged For Abusing Neighbor’s Cat

Burlington County SPCA is charging a New Jersey man with animal cruelty after allegedly tormenting his neighbor's cat over Thanksgiving.

Gary Schleinkofer of Shamong Township is facing FOUR COUNTS of animal cruelty. According to NJ.com, SPCA reports that Schleinkofer is being charged with the following:

• inflicting unnecessary cruelty on a living creature
• knowingly tormenting a living creature
• unnecessarily cruelly abusing a living creature
• unnecessarily tormenting a living creature

I couldn't seem to find what exactly this man was doing to the poor cat, but either way it's disgusting and upsetting to read.

Schleinkofer is scheduled to appear at Southampton Municipal Court on March 22, hopefully by then there will be more details.
