Millville’s Mike Trout Wins American League MVP [VIDEO]

It wasn't much of a surprise to me to see Mike Trout win the American League MVP last night, but it still had me and my friends cheering.

After being runner-up for the MVP award for the last two years, Millville's very own, and Los Angeles Angels center-fielder Mike Trout finally got what he deserved.  Here are some of the highlights from this past season:

Trout joins baseball Hall of Famers Hank Aaron and Willie Mays as players to win an MVP award at the age of 23.  Here is Mike and his family after accepting the award:

Congrats Mike on winning baseball’s most prestigious award, and thank you for representing South Jersey in such a big way.
