New Year's Day, 2018 is a day that will never be forgotten by two local families who welcomed South Jersey's first babies of the new year at area hospitals.

Tiosha Goddard and Kaleem Williams from Atlantic City took the honor of having South Jersey's first-born baby of 2018 when their son Taheem Williams was born at 2:15a.m., January 1 at the Roger B. Hansen Center for Childbirth at AtlantiCare's Mainland Campus in Pomona. He weighed 5 pounds, 10 ounces, and was 19 inches long.
