Kelly Clarkson and fiance Brandon Blackstock put in paperwork for a marriage license last Tuesday in Tennessee, giving them 30 days to wed.  But the couple chose to have their nuptials sooner rather than later, and are now officially husband and wife!

The singer confirmed today on Twitter that she and Brandon tied the knot Sunday.

Kelly tweets, "I'm officially Mrs. Blackstock :) We got married yesterday at Blackberry Farms in TN, the most beautiful place ever!," and added a lovely photo of herself in a white lace wedding gown, holding a bouquet of sunflowers, standing on a covered bridge and smiling as Brandon kisses her on the cheek.

Kelly and Brandon eloped after canceling their plans for an elaborate ceremony.  Clarkson stating previously that their busy schedules made it too difficult for them to plan a full-scale affair, and that she felt overwhelmed by the whole wedding party process.

Kelly becomes stepmother to Brandon's two children from a previous marriage.  She recently announced that she and Brandon plan to start a family immediately.  Perhaps the reason for the rush?

The couple were introduced a few years ago by Brandon's stepmom Reba McIntyre, with whom Kelly had previously dueted.
