She and her ex-BF ended on good terms after dating for 5 years. They really like each other as people, but grew apart, and remain friends.

However, his bride-to-be can't stand Karley because the bride is the jealous type and knows the history and doesn't even like that they are still friends.

So Karley is wondering why the bride even agreed to the invitation, but Karley doesn't want to miss the big day for her friend.
