Ever Play with These as a Kid? — Throw Back Thursday

I did a double take when I saw these in the store the other day. I used to play with these all the time when I was a kid!

Roll Caps, or bang caps as we used to call them. Ahhh...it takes me back to when I was 8 years old.

The thing was, I never had or used a cap gun with these gunpowder filled caps that go BANG! I would simply unroll a few at a time, then hit them with a hammer or rock.

When I wanted to get really stupid, I would take an entire roll...keep it rolled up and hit the entire thing with a hammer! The bang was so loud, my ears would be ringing for about 10 minutes after the hit. Probably not the smartest thing to do.
