Joey’s Voice, a small group dedicated to raising suicide awareness in South Jersey has teamed up with the VFW of Paulsboro, NJ to host a Chinese Auction fundraiser on June 10th 2012 at The George D. Patton VFW Post 678, 1103 Commerce Street Paulsboro, NJ 08260.  Doors open at 2pm and the auction begins at 3pm.  Joey’s Voice was the combined efforts for Amber Nicolosi and Sharon Kane in loving memory of Joseph Nicolosi Jr. who took his life on July 6th 2011. Joseph was born and raised in Gloucester County, graduated Clearview Regional High School, was an Army Veteran, college graduate, Commander at the Ada, Oklahoma American Legion, and a loving husband and father when he succumbed to suicide.  Monies raised  will fund future projects such as a scholarship fund, a suicide awareness walk, and many other missions geared at raising awareness, erasing the stigma of suicide and mental illnesses, and promoting hope and healing.
