Polar Bear Plunge Royal Family Crowning
Sea Isle City’s 19th Annual Polar Bear Plunge, which is held each year during President’s Weekend, will once again be enhanced by a variety of enjoyable activities, including a Costume Contest, a 5K Run / 1.5-mile Walk for Autism and four “Royal Family” competitions that will determine this year’s Polar Bear Prince, Princess, King and Queen.
In addition to each receiving valuable prizes, including crowns, sashes and iPad Minis, the members of Sea Isle’s 2013 Polar Bear Royal Family will lead thousands of plungers into the Atlantic Ocean during the weekend’s “main event” on Saturday, February 16. They will also be invited to participate in other events throughout the coming year.
