Oakcrest High School’s Welcome Wagon is a traveling, spirited, Falcon-community welcome that will visit the neighborhoods of four, pre-selected members of their incoming freshman class on Tuesday August 5th. The OHS Welcome Wagon will load up at the OHS bus loop at 4pm with current OHS students, OHS administration, faculty, parents, alumni and community members who will parade to the neighborhoods of our four selected freshmen. The Welcome Wagon will be led by Hamilton Township Police escort, followed by the falcon-blue fire trucks of the Mizpah Volunteer Fire Company. At the students’ houses, the OHS Drum Line will play and the OHS Cheerleaders and OHS Dance Team will lead a cheer, while Student Council President Maren Ross, Senior Class President Mariah Matthews, Hamilton Township Deputy Mayor Amy Gatto ('00), GEHRHSD Superintendent John Keenan, Principal Money, The Falcon himself and a select member of the OHS faculty will officially welcome the incoming freshman by presenting his/her family with pizza and ice cream! To RSVP a spot on the bus you can e-mail or call Joe Costal at 609-909-2631 or Terri Walters at 609-909-2601!
