After the huge success Atlantic City had with the free beach concerts, the CRDA hopes to amp up the music scene.

In an effort to bring more entertainment in a shrinking casino market, the CRDA and Live Nation are working on a deal to bring ten 'big name acts' to Boardwalk Hall next year.  Live Nation was in charge of promoting both  Blake Shelton and Lady Antebellum concerts, which resulted in over 60,000 people attending (granted, it was a free concert on the beach).

The Atlantic City Alliance has already begun discussion of next year's free beach concerts, as well as concerts in the off season.

In other good news, the CRDA’s board approved $75,000 in additional funding Tuesday for more concerts and other special events through the rest of the year.

The board approved a grant of $25,000 to DelMo Sports Inc. for production of the 2014 Atlantic City Triathlon, which is expected to draw more than 1,000 athletes for running, swimming and paddling events on Sept. 14. (Press of Atlantic City)

Since there is no hint as to who these '10 big acts' coming to Boardwalk Hall are, who would you like to see in Atlantic City? Feel free to comment below....
