As weddings go, this is one of the most original ideas I've seen. Laura Cortese and Edward Warren chose to exchange vows on a float during Thursday night's Mays Landing Halloween Parade.

Approximately 4,000 spectators witnessed the 'I Do's' between the Dororthy, Weymouth Twp. couple as their bridal float cruised from the Wheaton building down to Memorial Park and along Main Street in Mays Landing.

The float was an elaborate creation, four-tiered with an arbor at the top, PressofAtlanticCity.com reports.

Mays Landing Merchants Association President John Kurtz, of County Seat Florist, told Press of AC this was the town's largest parade attendance in 60 years.

The couple said traditional vows as their orange and purple lights-lined float stopped in front of Brownie’s Squared Bake Shop. The bakery prepared a wedding feast for 20 people seated at tables on the moving  moving platform.

The newlyweds stopped in front of Memorial Park to cut their wedding cake.

The bride and groom plan to honeymoon in the new year.

This year's parade will be hard to top!
