The Boss is under the weather, and his illness has forced him to put his two nights with The E Street Band in Philly on hold.

The official announcement came Wednesday afternoon from Bruce Springsteen himself mere hours before doors were set to open at Citizens Bank Park for his first of two tour dates at the venue.

Both the Wednesday, August 16th and Friday, August 18th shows have been postponed and will be rescheduled at a later date, so hold onto your tickets!

We wish The Boss a speedy recovery and hope he's able to take the stage for Philly fans in the near future.
