Body Found Along the Shore in Quiet South Jersey Town

Residents were shocked and in disbelief....

In Margate, residents found out that a body of a 79-year old woman was discovered on the bay.

This isn't the kind of news you hear everyday, and it's certainly not the kind of news that a town like Margate is used to.

According to NBC 40:

'Just before 2:30 Sunday afternoon, Margate Police, and the New Jersey State Police Marine Unit, responded to the marina where they discovered the body of an unidentified woman floating in between a dock and an adjacent piling.

On Sunday night, detectives were still on the scene and appeared to be looking for something else in the murky water.'

The investigation is still ongoing.
