Bacteria Levels High at NJ Beaches

Several South Jersey beaches are being monitored for bacteria, in fact, two Ocean county beaches are closed.   Some beaches in Atlantic County and Cape May are being impacted too.  Are you planning on visiting the following beaches any time soon?

 

According to Dan Alexander, Townsquare News Network, the following are some beaches that you might want to watch out for:

 


5th St, an ocean beach in Avalon, Cape May County with 178 CFU/100ml;

18th Ave, an ocean beach in North Wildwood City, Cape May County with 132 CFU/100ml;

10th St, an ocean beach in Ocean City, Cape May County with 288 CFU/100ml;

8th St, an ocean beach in Ocean City, Cape May County with 616 CFU/100ml;

9th St, an ocean beach in Ocean City, Cape May County with 336 CFU/100ml;

Schellenger, an ocean beach in Wildwood City, Cape May County with >120 CFU/100ml;

Arkansas, an ocean beach in Atlantic City, Atlantic County with >240 CFU/100ml;

Georgia, an ocean beach in Atlantic City, Atlantic County with 424 CFU/100ml;

Illinois, an ocean beach in Atlantic City, Atlantic County with 140 CFU/100ml;

Iowa, an ocean beach in Atlantic City, Atlantic County with 108 CFU/100ml;

Kentucky, an ocean beach in Atlantic City, Atlantic County with 252 CFU/100ml;
