The weather for Saturday in Cape May is looking like sunshine, a warm fall day around 75 degrees, and wine all over the ferry terminal.  Now does this sound like a great day for you this weekend?

The Cape May Wine Festival will see the invasion of 24 wineries from New Jersey (almost all of them based in South Jersey) bringing over 300 different wines for you to sample, enjoy, and purchase to take home (credit cards accepted for wine purchases) - all taking place at the Cape May-Lewes Ferry Terminal.

For $25 you will get into this event, receive a wine tasting glass, and begin to enjoy all the wonderful offerings to be had at this 6th annual event (personal recommendation is to check out Unionville Vineyards offerings).  Should you decide to make a full weekend down in Cape May, buy the 2-day pass for this event for $40.

You can bring the kids for this event - they will get in for Free (only charging for those who are sampling wines).  There is a kids area set up at the festival with crafts and live music.

The Cape May Wine Festival is this Saturday and Sunday from Noon - 5pm.  Parking down by the ferry is limited, but there will be a major lot about 3/10 of a mile away, and bus shuttles will run to get you to the festival.

There will be food and other beverages to purchase to enjoy your day, or you can choose to pack a picnic lunch (but do not bring in any wine - that is a No No!)
