There were rumors for quite some time that a Whole Foods Market would open in a certain South Jersey town.  We not only now know that the store is opening, but also have a confirmed opening date!

Whole Foods will open in Cherry Hill on June 18th at the Ellisburg Shopping Center.

According the Courier-Post, A March 2013 statement said Whole Foods would replace a vacated Genuardi’s supermarket. Since then, the 47,000-square-foot store has been gutted and rebuilt.

All stores in the center will be renovated to mirror the Whole Foods look. On Monday, workers were power-washing the stores’ front walls.

The renovations will also include the removal of the fence surrounding the Ellisburg Shopping Center, and two new businesses will also open.  Pet Supplies Plus will open by mid-summer, and Honeygrow, which will offer locally sourced and seasonal food.
