5 Things You Couldn’t Buy With the $356 Million Powerball Jackpot
The Powerball jackpot has surged to $356 million dollars due to not having a winner the past two months.
The winning ticket would be worth $356 million to the winner. The cash option would be worth $224 million to the winner(s).
I would be beside myself and would probably require extra oxygen if I were to win any part of the huge Powerball jackpot. I have my fantasy list of what I would buy already, however, there are a few things I couldn’t put on my list, even if I won.
It’s almost time for FOOTBALL! It would be so cool to own a professional sports team, but the Eagles are worth just a bit more than $356 million. According to Forbes.com, the Eagles are worth $1.16 billion. Billion!
Air Force One
According to Finances Online, Air Force One was purchased in the early 90’s for $330 million. Today it’s worth over $571 million. Not to mention, it costs about $200,000 an hour to fly the President all over the world.
The Cullinan Diamond
The price tag for the most expensive diamond in the world, according to Shzell.com is $400 million. For $400 mil. you would get a 3,106,75 carat with 621.35 g. That’s a little too pricey for me!
Beverly Hillbillies Mansion
This Los Angeles mansion is listed for $350 million, which is the highest in the country. The mansion was also used as the backdrop for the classic ‘Beverly Hillbillies’ sitcom back in the 60’s, according to Mansion Global.
The mansion includes a 75 foot pool, pool house, guest house and manicured gardens. I know the jackpot is $356 million, but you’ll come up way short for this house after taxes.
