$100,000 Donation from a Jersey Girl for Hurricane Relief
With the damage from "Sandy" being in the Billions along the Atlantic Coast, one Jersey Girl has taken upon herself to donate 100 Grand (not the candy bar) to the relief effort. You might be surprised who this person is ....
How this donation came about was when John C. Relly came on the show Chelsea Lately on E! The interview on last night's show had Reilly taking about the devastation from the Super Storm.
The star you know from Chicago, Talladega Nights, and The Perfect Storm (irony here), challenged the viewers to text REDCROSS to 90999 and make a donation toward relief for our area and surrounding states hit by Sandy.
Chelsea Handler took Reilly's challenge and stepped up huge! The host of the successful late-night talk show is a Jersey Girl who was born and bred in Livingston, and showed her support for her home state with a $100,000 donation toward relief efforts.
