More or less, in 2021, that pretty much collectively sums up the world's daily morning routine. If you've checked it once, you've checked it multiple times by the time you get to work in the morning. Right or wrong? Whether or not you care to admit it, your answer is, most likely, the former.

Nobody likes to admit that Facebook &/or Instagram are part of our daily routines as much as they are, but it's the 21st century, welcome to it. So, what happens when two of the most popular social media platforms experience worldwide issues? People get frustrated.

On Monday, that's exactly the sentiment felt far and wide once people realized they couldn't access their pages for that quick dopamine fix. Both Facebook and Instagram have reported multiple issues plaguing their platforms as early as Monday morning. As of 2:45 p.m Monday afternoon, the issues have yet to be fixed.

If you try to log onto Facebook for the first time via a desktop or laptop, you'll get an error message on your screen. For the early birds of the world who were up and at 'em, every time they try to access it via the app, the only posts that are visible are from a much earlier date/time. The same goes for Instagram.

Neither Facebook nor Instagram has given any indication as to when the social platforms will be fixed. At this point, it looks like it's a waiting game for avid users. Quite frankly, there's no way to even begin to predict when the apps will be restored.
