We all know the Sixers host the Brooklyn Nets next Thursday, March 10 at the Wells Fargo Center, but don't expect to see Ben Simmons play in the game.

According to ESPN NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski, Simmons will not make his debut in Philly, but he could play in the game there, if he makes his debut before March 10.

"I know this, that won't be Ben Simmons' debut," Woj explained. "They would not put him in that game as a first game."

Woj explained that Simmons still hasn't gone full throttle at practice, doing more individual drills since the trade to Brooklyn.

While Nets general manager Sean Marks said he was hopeful that Simmons would be able to return this week, it appears that might be in jeopardy now.  According to Shams Chania of The Athletic, Simmons is now dealing with back soreness that could keep him from returning this week.

If Simmons isn't able to gt back on the court in one of Brooklyn's five games before March 10, that game in Philadelphia would not be his first game with his new team.
