Winning $7.1 Million Lottery Ticket Sold at South Jersey Supermarket
Someone in the southern half of the Garden State can literally buy millions of pumpkin spice-flavored items after hitting the lottery for $7.1 million.
That's not a bad way to celebrate the arrival of fall.
Officials with the New Jersey Lottery say one ticket matched all six numbers drawn for the Thursday, September 22nd, Pick-6 with Double Play drawing. That winning ticket will claim the $7.1 million annuity jackpot.
The winning ticket was sold at Shoprite on Route 38 East in Hainesport, Burlington County.
The winning numbers were 08, 15, 28, 31, 33, and 39.
The jackpot will reset to $2 million for the next drawing on Monday, September 26th.
In addition to the jackpot winner, the drawing produced two winners matching five out of the six white balls drawn. Those tickets had the 3X multiplier making their tickets worth $15,825 each.
