One of the biggest summer concert festivals has unfortunately been postponed, due to the coronavirus.

The Barefoot Country Music Fest that was set to happen June 19 to 21 in Wildwood, NJ has been postponed until 2021. Organizers say the rescheduled event will take place on the weekend of June 17-20, 2021.

They've also announced a special concert Kick-Off Party, which will honor healthcare and other frontline workers in the battle against COVID-19. That's scheduled for Thursday, June 17, 2021. Organizers will also be donating 500 festival tickets to healthcare personnel on the frontlines.

If you were a ticket holder for this year's Barefoot Country Music Fest you will be able to roll over for next year's 3-day. You also have two other options on what you can do with your tickets. These options include either donating the ticket to COVID-19 frontline workers or just getting a quick refund on your tickets, according to NJ.com.

"The uncertainty surrounding COVID-19 made it increasingly clear that moving BCMF to 2021 was the best decision to protect the health and safety of fans, the Wildwood community, artists, and BCMF staff," the head organizer of the Barefoot Country Music Fest, Rob Pedlow said in today's statement.

Carrie Underwood, Blake Shelton, Dan + Shay, and Lynyrd Skynyrd were all scheduled to headline this year's event. Organizers say they are working on keeping the same headliners for next year's BCMF, but an official new lineup will be shared in the future.
