Long time Eagles center Jason Kelce surprised fans when he showed up to a recent practice with a new hair-do.

The blond locks on top of Kelce's head matched the same look veteran tight end Zach Ertz was sporting this season when he showed up to training camp.

Now we know why.

The Eagles all-pro center lost a bet to Ertz, forcing him to color his hair to match Ertz's bleach-blond color.

Apparently, Kelce didn't think Ertz would be here this season and now his hair has to match his teammates' new color.

"That was if Zach was still here Week 1, I had to dye my hair like Zach," Kelce admitted about why he changed the color of his hair.

The veteran center, who is sporting his signature beard, which has not changed color, said his daughter essentially had no reaction to the new color. However, he did explain that his wife is not a fan of the new look.

"It's a bet I'm happy to lose," Kelce said.

Kelce said he wasn't happy with the look, but that he was happy that he lost the bet.

Ertz of course was the subject of trade rumors all offseason, but the team could not find a suitable partner. The 30-year old tight end caught two balls for 34 yards in the opener and was a key part of DeVonta Smith's first NFL Catch, which went for a touchdown.

He was able to stay on the field for 61% of the snaps on Sunday even though he was dealing with a hamstring issue that had him listed as a limited participant for Wednesday and Thursday's practice.

If the Eagles keep up their winning ways, you might see a lot of bleach-blond heads around the Delaware Valley.
