Concerts! Remember those. WOW! It's hard to believe it's been more than a year since anyone's been to a REAL one (not a virtual performance, or drive-in show). But Wells Fargo Center has just announced a handful of artists who will be entertaining at the stadium starting this September, reports 6abc.com.

Sports fans have recently been welcomed back in limited capacity for Sixers games and Flyers games, and the permitted capacity seems to be steadily increasing as more and more people get vaccinated against COVID-19. So, it's great to see some musicians feeling ready to get back out on the road.

Here are the five shows confirmed to be happening at full-capacity in 2021 and 2022:

  • Banda MS (Mexican group), September 4, 2021 (Tickets on sale now.)
  • Eric Church, October 9, 2021 (Tickets on sale May 7th.)
  • Andrea Bocelli, October 13, 2021 (Pre-sales begin April 28th, General Sale May 23rd)
  • Kane Brown, January 13, 2022 (Tickets on sale April 16th.)
  • Roger Waters, August 5 & 6, 2022 (Previously sold tickets are valid for new dates.)

In a recent press release, Wells Fargo Center President of Business Operations Valerie Camillo sounded optimistic, saying, "you can hear the music at the end of the tunnel, and we can't wait to once again host world-class entertainers here in Philadelphia in front of full capacity crowds".

Wells Fargo Center reportedly spent the better part of the last year completing an $11 million renovation of its HVAC systems, which replaces all the air in the arena's seating area every half hour, according to 6abc.com.

There's no update yet from Wells Fargo on the fate of the Justin Bieber show, currently scheduled for July 11th, and if that will be bumped up to a full audience. Same goes for Harry Styles September 17th. But we'll keep you posted!
