OMG. It's just (barely) past mid-August and what's back in Wawa's coffee lineup already? Yep. Pumpkin Spice. All taunting and tempting with its Sweet Cinnamon and Nutmeg.

But you're not getting me. We wait through long, harsh winters for summer to arrive, and when it gets here, I'm in no hurry to rush it OR anything pumpkin spice-flavored.

Although I've been known to break my own rule in the past, I am mostly on the #NEPS side. #NEPS means 'No Early Pumpkin Spicing'. I don't like to even entertain pumpkin-y things until the first day of fall. I LIKE SEASONS!

So, Wawa, even though I love you, I had to frown and shake my head at your Pumpkin Spice coffee when it's officially still summer on the calendar. But evidently, the pumpkin spice-force is strong with some enough with some coffee lovers that coffeemakers like Wawa just cave early.

However, you're not first on my naughty list. That would be the Hallmark store, which is already promoting Christmas.

What's the rush, people? Before you know it we'll be sitting around the Thanksgiving table in our Halloween costumes, opening Christmas gifts, while dyeing Easter eggs and watching fireworks.
