Watering Hole, Olive Garden, Sakura, Ventnor Liquor Store Cited

A Hamilton Township Bar was cited for allowing people to drink on the premises, two Mays Landing restaurants and a Ventnor liquor store were cited for mask violations.

Attorney General Gurbir S. Grewal and Colonel Patrick J. Callahan, Superintendent of the New Jersey State Police, announced COVID-19 violations in the state, including the violations in Atlantic County.

Grewal says, "The Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) this week issued charges seeking to suspend for 10 days the liquor license of an Atlantic County bar, the Watering Hole Café in Hamilton, for allowing patrons to drink on premises in violation of COVID-19 emergency orders." The orders call for take out and delivery services only with no table or bar service, or on-premise consumption of alcohol.

Meanwhile, the state issued citations against three Atlantic County businesses for mask violations:

Olive Garden in Mays Landing  and Sakura Japanese Steakhouse were both fined $500 for employees being on the premises without masks.

Community Liquors in Ventnor was fined $250 for allowing customers on the premises without wearing masks.
