Officials in Vineland say a suspect wanted in connection to Thursday night's shooting in the parking lot of Cumberland Mall has been arrested.

According to Vineland Police, detectives from their criminal division arrested the suspect inside the home of a family member in the 2000 block of East Chestnut Avenue. Details regarding the identity of the suspect were not released as of Monday morning. No injuries were reported during the arrest.

Police had responded to the shopping center on Delsea Drive just before 10PM Thursday after receiving reports of a shooting.

They say a 28-year-old man was shot multiple times in the parking lot. He was taken to the trauma unit at Cooper Hospital and, as of Friday, was listed in stable condition.
