Vineland, NJ’s Pacheco Throws Punch, Gets Tossed from Chiefs Packers Game
It was a heated weekend in the NFL with several scuffles taking place during games, and South Jersey's own Isiah Pacheco was no exception.
Not only did Pacheco get into a fight, the Vineland, New Jersey native instigated it. It was a move that saw him ejected from Sunday night's matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Green Bay Packers.
It was late in the fourth quarter as the Chiefs were scrambling to hold off a loss to the Packers when Isiah threw a punch at Green Bay cornerback Keisean Nixon at the end of a play, NBC Sports reports.
I was disappointed to see Pacheco let his temper get the best of him. Individually, the night was going really for him up to that point. He'd already put the second 100-yard game of his career under his belt. Not only did Isiah carry well for the Chiefs Sunday night, but he also caught three passes. The Chiefs ultimately lost 27-19.
As I mentioned, Kansas City and Green Bay weren't the only NFL teams that got heated on Sunday. Both the 49ers Dre Greenlaw and Eagles security chief Big Dom DiSandro were thrown out of Lincoln Financial Field during the San Fran/Philadelphia matchup after getting laying hands on each other.
