The case regarding corrections officer William Durham of Vineland seems to have no end in sight.

In May of this year, Durham was stabbed multiple times by 18-year-old Zachary Latham, also of Vineland, after the Durham family allegedly went to his house to confront him about bullying and harassment Latham had reportedly done to the family on several occasions. The confrontation turned into an altercation that ultimately led to the death of William Durham.

According to NJ.com, Durham had been a corrections officer for almost twenty years. Nothing definitive regarding the altercation at Latham's residence has yet been verified, however, there are more than one video depicting not only that incident, but the altercations that reportedly have been happening for months between the two parties. Apparently, 18-year-old Latham would record videos of his encounters with the Durhams and post them to TikTok.

In one such video following the death of William Durham, the family reportedly discovered that their home address had been shared to the video-sharing app TikTok, Durham's wife Catherine reported to notice an increase in vehicles stopping in front of and passing by her residence since her location had been leaked.

Social media rears its ugly head. It's a great communications tool, however with every positive comes a negative. New allegations against Zachary Latham claim the reason for the altercation at his home was planned so he could become notorious on TikTok. Hopefully, those claims aren't true, but nothing will be known with any level of certainty until the case goes to trial.
