According to officials, on Monday a woman from London was impaled by a beach umbrella while visiting the Jersey Shore.

London native Margaret Reynolds, 67, was on the beach in Seaside Heights when a beach umbrella from the strong winds pierced right through her right ankle, according to the Asbury Park Press.

Tommy Boyd, Borough Police Chief, says that before they could move her into the ambulance, crews had to use bolt cutter to free Reynolds from the Umbrella. Her current condition has been released as of yet.

As to how she was injured in the first, authorities have not yet released any more information.
