Two Shot in Egg Harbor Township Last Wednesday Night
Cops in Egg Harbor Township say two people were shot last Wednesday night and authorities continue to look for who pulled the trigger.
According to a press release from the Egg Harbor Township Police Department, at about 7:40 last Wednesday night, December 30th, they responded to a shots-fired call in the Pleasantwoods neighborhood. When they arrived, they found two people who had been shot; they both sustained non-life threatening gunshot wounds. Both victims were taken to Atlanticare in Atlantic City for treatment.
Police say a preliminary investigation revealed that two men, ages 18 and 20, who are not residents of Egg Harbor Township, were shot. The unknown suspect(s) fled the area.
Authorities say that the victims are, "not associated with the neighborhood where the incident took place," and that the suspect(s) have not been identified as the investigation into exactly what happened continues. Police point-out that only limited information is being released at this time.
