Two Men Fatally Shot in Burlington County Saturday Morning
Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina says two men were fatally shot early Saturday morning inside a vehicle in the parking lot of an apartment complex in Edgewater Park.
The Edgewater Township Police Department says their officers were called to the Orchard Park Apartments at 12:20 AM for a reported shooting.
Arriving officers found shots had been fired into a vehicle containing four people, fatally striking the driver and a backseat passenger.
The driver was identified as 25-year-old Sadiel Gonzalez, a resident of the complex. The other victim, 18-year-old Altarrek Bell is from North Carolina. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.
The other two passengers in the vehicle were not injured.
The motive for the shootings continues to be investigated. No arrests have been made.
