Time to Bundle Up! Code Blue Issued for South Jersey
We've been spoiled so far when it comes to the weather. It's felt more like the middle of May instead the middle of November. That's all about to change.
Say bye bye to the warm and decent temps we've been having as a blast of cold air gets ready to head to South Jersey.
According to the Press of Atlantic City, a Code Blue has been issued for Atlantic and Cape May counties.
Code Blue for Atlantic County will start on Wednesday, November 18th at 4 AM and will last until Thursday, November 19th at 7 AM. Code Blue for Cape May County will last for two days, Wednesday and Thursday from 6 PM to 6 AM.
For those who need help and shelter in Cape May County you can call the Cape May County Division of Social Services at 609-886-6200. In Atlantic County you can contact your local Office of Emergency Management.
Any resident of the Garden State can get help with homelessness by calling a 2-1-1 hotline or texting your zip code to 898-211 for help. The hotline is available 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.
According to our Lite Rock meteorologist Dan Zarrow, after a few frigid days, things will start to warm up in South Jersey just in time for the weekend. We could reach 60 degrees to close out another work week.
