Dreams do come true!

If I could find businessman Darren DeSumma I would KISS HIM! He's reopening my ALL-TIME FAVORITE PLACE TO EAT! Surely, you remember the Weber's Root Beer and Burger Grill on the White Horse Pike in Stratford?

I've been eating there practically since I was born. When it closed a few years ago, I was DEVASTATED. In fact, there may not be enough adjectives in the English language to adequately explain how upset I was. I LIVED for a Weber's pizza steak, their fries, and a cold mug of their legendary root beer.

And all the food got brought to your car by servers, some on rollerskates, tray propped right on your car window. To me it always felt like the greatest indulgence, day or night.

Yes, I know there's still a Weber's in Pennsauken. Not to disparage that location, but the Stratford Weber's is my jam.

Darren DeSumma tells NJ.com about his new venture, “I always wanted to be in the food business. It’s something I’ve thought about since my early 20s. I always liked the uniqueness and character of it.”

While the exterior, most recognized by it's retro carport, will reportedly get a bit of a makeover, the menu will be full of the same old favorites, including root beer, burgers, fries and onion rings.

DeSumma is planning to have the Stratford Weber's up and running again by late April, and guess who'll be waiting? THIS GIRL.

DARREN DESUMMA, YOU ARE MY HERO!
