Teen Charged with Pointing Fake Gun at School Bus
A 13-year old male has been charged by authorities in Hamilton Township after he allegedly pointed a fake gun at a moving school bus.
The incident took place near Melvin Newton Blvd. and Annapolis Ave. in the Mizpah section of Hamilton Township yesterday afternoon. Police responded after reports of a person firing an imitation gun at the Sheppard Bus Company school bus, according to NBC40.net.
The was occupied with numerous children the teen jumped out from behind a tree, firing the bus with projectiles from the fake firearm. No one was injured.
The 13-year-old was arrested and later released to a family member. He is achedule to appear in Juvenile Court for charges of possession of an imitation firearm for an unlawful purpose, and 4th degree unlawful possession of a weapon.
