According to BBC UK, Katy Perry is going to bring Taylor Swift on stage to perform at this year's MTV Video Music Awards. The move would be the symbolic beginning of the end of the years-long feud between the two pop stars.

It's a shame — that same feud brought us Swift's petty anthem "Bad Blood" and the almost-intimidating "Swish Swish," though Nicki Minaj worked as hard as she could to bring Perry's dish track some ferocity.

Taking advantage of the huge platform from the awards show isn't a new move, to be fair. Swift already leveraged the VMA's to symbolically end another equally-famous beef, that time between herself and Kanye West. Maybe since the beef with Kanye was struck again with Kanye's infamous lyric in "Famous," Perry figures she can be the bigger pop star in forgiving her sister in sequins.

Perry is also hosting the VMA's, which will air on August 27 at 7 p. m. Eastern Time.
