Police say 20 people, mostly from New York City, were arrested at four ATMs on Tuesday as part of "suspicious activity" reported at Santander banks around the area.

Several arrests were confirmed in Robbinsville and Woodbridge, while other police agencies referred questions to the FBI's Newark office.

New Jersey authorities have rescued about 100 cats inside a condominium covered in feces, urine and garbage.
