Fall just wouldn't be complete without some pumpkin in your life, but did you know that the pumpkin is technically a fruit? If not, don’t worry we didn't either. It's why we decided to do some research on this seasonal symbol.

Our parent company Townsquare Media put together this epic Halloween attraction called The Glow that showcases some of the most ornately carved Jack o' lanterns ever. There were a few leftover pumpkins so naturally our friends up in the Toms River office had the perfect plan: chuck em' off a roof.

One of the early signs that fall has arrived is the sightings of bright, orange pumpkins everywhere. From roadside stands to farms to front porches, pumpkins are a sure sign of the season. As we get closer to Halloween we start to see all kinds of jack-o-lanterns carved out in all sorts of designs.
