Nature can be awesome...and scary AF!

With storms on the minds of most of us in South Jersey lately, this unbelievably intense micro burst storm hit Ocean City, New Jersey.

I kinda feel bad for this ANGRY DRIVER who can't get his Jeep 4X4 out of the snow, while smaller cars are just cruising right past him!

In the summer of 2012, I learned a weather term I'd never heard of before. On June 29th that year a howling storm called a 'derecho' swept through South Jersey. It was the kind of storm that had me in bed with a pillow over my head waiting for it to pass.

Saturday night's thunder, lightening, rain, wind, and hail really pounded South Jersey. Trampoline's were sent flying out of backyards, trash cans were overturned, trees snapped. But one local bunny rabbit seemed perfectly protected from the damage despite being left in an outdoor cage.

Millville's Mike Trout, All-Star Centerfielder for the Los Angeles Angels, pitched in to help The Weather Channel this morning, with a live report from his parent's house in Millville. Meteorologist Jim Cantore called Trout a "weather geek" and said it was one of his biggest thrills ever.
