Prince's music catalog precedes him, there's no doubt about that. But he also lent some of his work to (and brought out the best in) other artists, some of his best songs in my opinion. Here are four songs you may have forgotten were written by The Purple One.
Back on September 26, 1998 when Prince took the stage at Trump Marina in Atlantic City (now Golden Nugget), he left an audience full of local fans wanting for nothing. That particular night was a testament to the catalogue of hits he had amassed up to that date. Upon the news of The Purple One's untimely death at the age of just 57, we thought we'd take a look back at that night.
Today we all mourn the loss of a music icon. Prince's experimentation of sound changed the landscape of music forever. He was often ecentric, but that's what made him an amazing performer. That is was set Prince apart from the rest. He wasn't just a musician, he was a true artist. Check out this entire Prince concert from Passaic, NJ's Capitol Theatre from January 30, 1982 in its entirety. RIP Pri
