New Music Monday

This week we're highlighting 'High Hopes', the second single from Panic! at the Disco's sixth studio album Pray for the Wicked.

Singer/songwriter (oh, and Grammy winner), Meghan Trainor has us back on her M Train! The latest stop lands at 'Me Too', the second single from her much anticipated sophomore album Thank You, being released this Friday.

Rachel Platten and her music are in the business of uplifting and inspiring. Now, the singer/songwriter who gave us the anthems 'Fight Song' and 'Stand By You' offers the beautiful ballad 'Better Place'. This is more of a love song but absolutely continuing Platten's ever-present optimism.

Jasmine Lucilla Elizabeth Jennifer van den Bogaerde, the 19-year old British singer/songwriter known as Birdy, is back! Her new song 'Keeping Your Head Up' is kind of a take on Florence & The Machine but with more of a pop vibe. It's got lots of drama and momentum, and is one of my favorite new songs.

Elle King is following up her smash debut single 'Ex's and Oh's' with 'America's Sweetheart', the standout track from her album Love Stuff. The song is very representative of Elle: A little bit of rock, pop vibes, and a smidge of banjo for good measure. Take a first listen on this New Music Monday.

Singer/songwriter Cam has taken the country music world by storm with her breakout song 'Burning House'. We think it's a pretty powerful tune.

Ruth B, a blooming 20-year old artist from Canada, has quite a story to go along with her debut single 'Lost Boy'. It started with just a single lyric and a Vine video, and over a short period of time, thanks to a growing flock of followers on social media, transformed into the most dramatic and beautifully written song. Don't we all have a little Peter Pan in us?

Sara Bareilles has returned with quite an unconventional project. She has penned new music for the upcoming Broadway play Waitress, based on the 2007 film that starred Keri Russell. Take a first listen to 'She Used to Be Mine' on this New Music Monday.
