A woman from Little Egg Harbor Twp. will be spending the next 12 to 24 years behind bars in connection to a 2021 crash on the Schuylkill Expressway that killed a firefighter.
Officials in Ocean County say a man from Little Egg Harbor Township has pleaded guilty to leaving the scene of an accident, DUI, and assaulting a police officer in 2020.
Jacqueline Walker, the Little Egg Harbor woman who police in Pennsylvania say drove her Jeep into emergency responders, causing the death of a firefighter and injuring three others who were investigating a crash on the Schuylkill Expressway, was arraigned on Tuesday on charges of third-degree murder, homicide by vehicle and several other traffic offenses in connection with the July crash.
Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer announced Thursday that Donald Rutter, 52, of Tuckerton, was indicted by a Grand Jury on charges of attempted murder.
