Was Dr. Seuss racist? Six Dr. Seuss books,including “And to Think That I Saw It on Mulberry Street” and “If I Ran the Zoo”, will stop being published because of racist and insensitive imagery, it was announced on the anniversary of Theodor Seuss Geisel's birthday.
Today ends the annual Read Across America week. So, I was so excited to get an invitation from Charles L. Spragg Elementary School in Egg Harbor City to read Dr. Seuss to a class of 2nd graders!
In the Dr. Seuss classic, the Grinch stole Christmas in a town called Whoville. In Philadelphia, the Grinch got a dose of some Philly medicine. He probably should have just stuck with 'Whoville'.
