When American Idol overhauled it's judging panel last year, fans were hoping that some former contestants would be considered for the job.  Names like Jennifer Hudson and Clay Aiken were thrown around, but nothing came of the rumors.  Well, now two of the most popular Idol alumni are indeed returning to the show...as mentors.

Chris Daughtry and his band are so popular and successful they're in demand for big gigs, like playing the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas on Valentine's Day (oh, and by the way, you and your sweetheart can win a trip to see them).

Now that the Presidential election is over, it's time to get down to the really important issues like, what did Chris Daughtry's hair look like before he shaved it all off?  Well, mystery solved!

Sunday August 12th will see the Borgata rock in Atlantic City when Daughtry takes over the Event Center.  Chris Daughtry was nice enough to call into SoJO this afternoon, and even with some technical issues he was a wonderful guest.

A MAJOR special guest will be joining the SoJO Morning Show on Friday morning.  Who will it be?  Your first hint is....

Rumor has it that concert-bound Jennifer Lopez could be on her way out of American Idol.  She may not be on the only one leaving the show.
