Snap a picture of the sky on 9-11 and post it on Instagram with the tag @911memorial. It recalls the bright blue sky of that morning and how we are all connected underneath the same big sky.

Yesterday was a day we recognized our local heroes, and remembered those who tragically lost their lives twelve years ago.  It's when the tragic events hit home, that hurts the most.....

To acknowledge the sacrifice that first responders made on September 11th, 2001, we remember our civil servants (fire, police & military).  They go to work each day, not knowing if they will return to their families later.  Here are the ways in which we show our appreciation:
