Surreal: United States Capitol Building Breached By Americans

Incredulously, this is now our Country.

The United States Capitol Building has been aggressively breached by Americans.

It has forced the Capitol Police to draw their weapons and turn them on their fellow Americans.

It’s surreal.

The House of Representatives floor has been breached.

The floor of The United States has also been breached.

At least one person has been shot and transported to the hospital.

There is property damage, still to be determined.

Multiple pleas are being made to United States President Donald Trump to intervene as the only one that those who have breached The Capitol Building will listen to.

This is all very hard to process.

This is not American behavior.

Yes, this is what our Country has become.

Guns forced to be drawn upon Americans, by Americans.

Americans destroying hallowed public property.

The unrest has forced members of Congress into lockdown, causing them to suspend their objection deliberations of the election of Joe Biden.

This is not who we are as a nation.

The National Guard is presently being mobilized and is on the way. There is a security threat inside The People’s House.

My heart hurts that this is what our Country has become.

These are images that I never thought I would ever see.
